 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

When should I apply?
As soon as possible!  We order lesson/master class assignments based on application date and it helps us plan as 2021 has limited spots.

What makes IET different many other festivals?
The IET encompasses SO MANY aspects.  Most events don't have the scope of global faculty, option for private lessons, quantity of classes, evening concerts, virtual and regular ensembles, solo competition, the Legends series, and more...

How do I get a lesson with one of my hero musicians?
Just sign up on your application form!  The most popular teachers fill up fast (that's why we ask for 3 requests), so apply early!

I am not that good, should I take part in the IET Festival?
YES YOU SHOULD!  Our mission has always been to help everyone.  So you will learn an INCREDIBLE amount during the week and you will have so much information after the event to help you be the best you can be!
